I thought I let everyone know what’s been going on. Some of you know and kept it quiet until I was ready to go public with it, and now that the date is set I can say what has really been going on these past few months.
As most of you know 2 years ago I had thyroid cancer and surgery to remove it. About a month ago I had a ultra sound done, finding two small lumps on my neck, one on the right side, and one in the bed where the thyroid use to be. The following week of the Ultra Sound I went in to have the needle aspiration done, got the result back and came back positive for cancer. Two weeks ago I meet with an Endocrinologist who was very nice, and told me this is going to have to be taken care of with surgery. I’d meet with surgeon who will perform my surgery, he too was very nice and informed me on what he will do when they cut my neck open and listed the bad parts of what could happen. I been told this is a bigger surgery then the one I had 2 years ago, they are going to reopen my old scar and make a bigger one along the right side of my neck(I’m ready for Halloween hahaha).
They told me it may take me a little be longer to recover from this one but you know me I bounce back fast.
I had a PET scan last Wednesday, it is not spreading to my left side of my neck or anywhere else in my body. I called and schedule the surgery on the 18th of October.

While I am recovering I will not be able to update Ocean Tides or draw, So I am trying to get a few pages of OT done before October now that I have a new laptop.
